Mr. Hong-Tu Tsai is the Chairman of Cathay Financial Holdings (Cathay FHC). Jens Nielsen has worked in more than 20 countries performing strategy and transformation work for some of the largest companies in the world, including as an industry leader in PricewaterhouseCoopers in the nineties. He was a top executive during the global roll-out of one of the largest PR and communications company Cision PR Newswire, through the early 2000s.

He is the founder and CEO of World Climate Foundation, which has established itself as the foremost international stakeholder platform for accelerating the green economy through partnerships across businesses, governments, investors and civil society. Among other activities, World Climate Foundation hosts the successful global summits World Climate Summit and World Biodiversity Summit. Jens Nielsen is also a founder and director of the public-private partnership Climate Investment Coalition, which is known for facilitating multi-billion USD in climate investments from international institutional investors before 2030. He is a board member of Climate Planet Foundation and of Art 2030.

Chairman Lin was appointed as Chairman and CEO of the TWSE in July 2022. His studies took him to the U.S. where he earned his MBA from George Washington University. Exhibiting keen analytic talent resulted in his promotion as the Executive Vice President for HSBC Asset Management Corporation. It was in 2005 that he joined the Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation (TDCC), and in 2016 he assumed the chairmanship of the TDCC board of directors.

Sophia Cheng is the Chief Investment Officer of Cathay Financial Holdings and also teaches in the Department of Intl Business of National Taiwan University. Sophia has also been actively promoting Corporate Sustainability and Responsible Investment in Taiwan. She has been acted as Chair of Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC) since November 2018, and also appointed as the member of Taiwan National Sustainable Development Committee. Sophia has been selected as 2019 Asia's Top Sustainability Superwomen, 2021 Global Top 50 Women in Investment Management, and 2022 Taiwan’s Outstanding Corporate Sustainability Professionals.

Sophia holds Master of Science degree in finance-banking from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, California, USA and a bachelor degree in Atmospheric Sciences from National Taiwan University.

Mr. Chang-Ken Lee is the President of Cathay Financial Holdings. He also acts as the Director of Cathay Financial Holdings, Cathay United Bank, Cathay Securities and Cathay SITE. Mr. Lee joined Cathay Financial Group in 1986. Prior to being the President of Cathay FHC, Mr. Lee served in several roles at Cathay Financial Holdings, including Chief Strategy Officer, Executive Vice President, and Head of Economic Research Division.

Mr. Lee has devoted efforts in promoting financial market development for decades and his contribution is well acknowledged by financial industry. Mr. Lee is currently the Chairman of Financial Planning Association of Taiwan, the Director of JCIC, and the Executive Director of the Bankers Association.

Mr. Lee highly regards the influence of sustainability created by the financial institution. A graduate of Civil Engineering Department, National Taiwan University, who was a member of the student movement generation in the 1990s and participated in the labor movement when he was young. After entering politics, he served as a senior executive officer on the National Youth Commission of the Executive Yuan, director of the Youth Department of the Democratic Progressive Party, director of Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chu's Office, and director-general of the Kaohsiung City Economic Development Bureau. He currently serves as Deputy Economics Minister in charge of energy policy and state-owned enterprises, deeply involved in the development of various types of renewable energy sources such as PV system, offshore wind energy and geothermal energy, as well as policy issues such as circular economy and net-zero transformation, etc. He concurrently assumes the position of acting chairman of Taiwan Power Company and actively promotes various strategic measures to stabilize power supply, such as power development and upgrading of grid resilience.

Dr. Niven Huang has worked on ESG and corporate sustainability for more than twenty-five years and now is KPMG ASPAC ESG Leader. Before joining KPMG, he was the Secretary General of the Business Council for Sustainable Development in Taiwan (BCSD-Taiwan, affiliated to WBCSD) for 16 years. During 2012-2015, he was the chairman of the Advisory Board of ASrIA, Association of Sustainable & Responsible Investment in Asia, which was based in Hong Kong and merged by UNPRI in October 2015. He is also an associate professor of MBA and EMBA programs and sits in the jury panel of Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards since 2015.

Elim manages CDP's corporate engagement programs and projects in the Greater China region. She advises high-impact companies on environmental reporting (e.g. TCFD) and works closely with large purchasers and their supply chains to help companies better understand and manage their emissions through using CDP data and disclosure platform.

In her role, Elim also works with local authorities, capital markets, corporates and NGOs in Hong Kong and Taiwan with an aim to advance the regional environmental agenda. This is done through providing capacity building and advice driven by international ESG reporting trends and insights. Prior to her current role, she carried out engagement work for key accounts and stakeholders in Southeast Asia, South Korea, and Oceania.

Elim is passionate about pursuing a sustainable future and sees environmental disclosure as an essential element to this.

Dr. Lih-Chyi Wen a partner at ERM Taiwan Co. Ltd.., where she is responsible for planning and implementing corporate sustainability and climate change initiatives. She is an environmental economist and WTO expert on the issues of trade and environment. She graduated from University of Connecticut in Economics with a Ph.D. degree. Previously she was also the Director of Center for Green Economy in Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research, the Deputy Director of WTO Center, Research Fellow of International Division, and the Director of the Green Trade Project Office in the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan.

Dr. Wen has been devoting to promoting environmental policies, circular economy, and green finance not only in Taiwan but also worldwide. She was also awarded as one of the 2008 Top 10 Rising Stars in Taiwan by the Central News Agency. In 2014, She made Asian Productivity Organization (APO) Eco-Products International Fair (EPIF) a successful event in Taiwan. Through her career, Dr. Wen has served as many governmental committee members, including Economic Advisory Council of Electricity and Natural Gas Prices in Ministry of Economi Affairs, Resource and Recycling Fee Rate Review Committee, Green Mark International Cooperation Advisory Council, Environmental Quality Advisory Committee in Environmental Protection Agency etc.

In academic activities, Dr. Wen is also very active. She received the awards from National Science Council in 1998 and 1999 separately and made two major publications: Benefit and Cost Analysis of Environmental Protection – Theory, Methodology & Applications (JunJie Publish Co. 2003) co-authored with Dr. Daigee Shaw, Dr. Huei-Yann Jeng, Dr. Pei-Yin Wu and Dr. Yu-lian Cian, and a translated book, entitled "Law and Economics" (Hua-Tai Publishing Co., 2013)

Camyale Chao has been participated in public affairs field more than 20 years, and he is currently the Executive Director of International Climate Development Institute (ICDI).

In addition, he is also an Executive Committee Member of CityNet, and the General Secretary of International Forum of Meteorological Societies. He was Deputy Director of APEC Center for Typhoon and Society, and has been invited as CSO representative to EBRD Annual Meeting and various climate conference in UN. He is a certified Trainer of UNDRR.

Dr. Chung-Shu Wu is currently the Chairman of Taiwan Institute of Economic Research (TIER). He also serves as the President of the Asia Pacific Industrial Analysis Association (APIAA). Prior to these positions, he served as the Chairman of Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance; the President of Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research; and the President of Taiwan Economic Association.

Dr. Wu earned a bachelor's degree in Economics from the National Taiwan University in 1980, and a PhD in Economics from the Northwestern University in 1984. He conducts research on monetary policy, international finance, and economic forecasting. In addition to research, Dr. Wu frequently participates in forums and conferences to share his view on sustainable development issues, and actively promotes ESG in recent years.

With more than 30 years of experience in forest resources investigation, professor Chiou has invested in the theoretical and practical research of forest carbon sink and carbon trading since 2005, and assists the government to complete the national forestry sector's emission inventory report every year, which is a pioneer in the research and practice of forest carbon sink measurement and trading. Since 2013, he has been in charge of the Climate Change Education Promotion Program of the Ministry of Education, actively promoting climate change education from primary schools to colleges and universities.

In recent years, professor Chiou has invested in the theory and practice of change adaptation, nature-based solutions and nature-related financial disclosure, provided government and enterprise related professional consultation and assessment services, and actively expanded the application of biodiversity conservation.

Chien-Hsin Lai obtained his Ph.D. degree in soil and water conservation from National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan. In 2001, Dr. Lai was invited to be a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley.

Dr. Lai was appointed as the Director-General of WRA from November 2016. He is also the Board Director of the National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction, Committee Member of the Panel of Experts of Belmont Forum, President of the Disaster Management Society of Taiwan, and President of the Chinese Water Resources Management Society.

Dr. Lai has served in public office for nearly 30 years, gaining extensive experience in various fields such as water resources management, administrative transparency, and cross-sector collaboration between governmental agencies and private entities. Notable accomplishments include leading a team in the successful promotion of environmental education at the Tseng-Wen Reservoir, for which he received the National Environmental Education Award.

Furthermore, fostering collaboration between enterprises and the Irrigation Agency to implement smart agricultural irrigation, resulting in mutual benefits.

Additionally, promoting the development, legislation, and regulation of reclaimed water, as well as advocating for the inclusion of "runoff distribution and outflow regulation" in the Water Act, which enables land and water channels to jointly shoulder flood risks, greatly enhancing overall land resilience to flooding.

Dr. Lai has also undertook numerous significant water resource projects, including the Zhongzhuang Retention Basin, the subsurface flow intake project of Dashu District, Kaohsiung City, the Zengwen Reservoir sediment-sluice tunnel project, and the second phase of the water supply improvement project for the Banxin area. These endeavors have greatly contributed to maximize the effectiveness of regional water sources distribution.

Dr. Lai was awarded the Model Civil Servant Award of the Executive Yuan in 2007, and Public Construction Golden Quality Award - Third Level Professional Medal in 2018. In addition, during the severe hundred-year drought at the beginning of 2021, Dr. Lai led the colleagues of the Water Resources Agency to proactively respond and implement innovative and meticulous water management strategies. They integrated diverse and innovative water sources, including utilizing groundwater from construction sites and employing mobile desalination units, to identify every available water source. Through strong collaboration with various sectors, they successfully minimized the social and industrial impact of the drought. These innovative efforts led the Water Resources Agency to be honored with the 5th Presidential Innovation Award in the Group Category in 2022.

Lora Ho is the Senior Vice President of Europe and Asia Sales for Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company. She is also the Chairman of TSMC ESG committee since 2011.

Ms. Ho has more than 40 years Finance Accounting experience, she joined TSMC in 1999, has been working in TSMC for 24 years.

Ms. Ho received numerous awards as the "Outstanding Financial Executive" by the Financial Executives Institute, the "Best CFO" of Taiwan and Asia from 2007-2019 by FinanceAsia, and Institutional Investor magazine. She was also named as one of "Nine of the Most Influential Women in Asian Tech" by Nikkei Asia Review magazine in 2018.

Mr. Nelson An-ping Chang is currently the Chairman of Taiwan Cement Corporation and CEO of LDC. He is an entrepreneur who combines humanistic knowledge and innovative business thinking. His business empire spans cement, software, internet, securities, media, and hotel industries, accumulating over 40 years of industrial experience. In 2017, Chairman Chang took over as the Chairman of Taiwan Cement and led the company towards a path of green transformation. Before that role, she served in the Securities and Futures Bureau and the Banking Bureau. Her deeds include promoting the 2013 Corporate Governance Roadmap, CSR reporting and futures trust funds. She holds two master's degrees in international development policy from Duke University and in public administration from the University of Southern California in the United States, and entered public office in 1986.

Mr. Jesse Chou joined Delta Electronics, Inc. in 2004, and currently serves as the chief sustainability officer and spokesperson, responsible for the company's ESG strategy management and stakeholder management. With a comprehensive background in both public relations and ESG, he helps the public fully understand Delta's mission and practices in sustainable operations through two external communications strategies: Delta as "international corporate citizen" and Delta as "green energy pioneer". From 2009 to 2015, he also served as the secretary of Delta's board of directors, assisting in promoting corporate governance. Mr. Chou received a master's degree from the Institute of Communication Science at National Chiao Tung University. He is currently the vice chairman of the Taipei Neihu Technology Park Development Association and the director of the Center for Corporate Sustainability. Before joining Delta, Mr. Chou served in several prominent companies and organizations including the Industrial Technology Research Institute, Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company. Shuang-Lang (Paul) Peng is the Chairman and Group Chief Strategy Officer of AUO Corporation. Jessica is the Economic Director at the British Office Taipei, leading a team responsible for building strong partnerships between the UK and Taiwan on economic cooperation and growth, including in science and innovation, technology, trade policy, energy and climate change. In earlier roles at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Jessica was the head of international climate strategy, and led the Energy & Climate team in Beijing from 2017-2021. Before joining the FCDO, Jessica worked in the Prime Minister's European and Global Issues Secretariat and the Department for Energy and Climate Change. Before joining the Civil Service, Jessica worked for a Member of Parliament and in the political statistics company YouGov. Jessica completed her University undergraduate degree in International Relations and became a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) in 2020. She also holds a qualification in advanced Mandarin Chinese, and is a member of the FCDO coaching network. Jessica has been in Taipei since March 2023 and enjoys traveling around the region and learning about local history and culture.
